On Thursday, June 4, 2020, a ceremonial presentation of the PROTUR four-turbine system took place at the Ledvice Power Plant (ČEZ, a.s.) with the participation of the CEO Pavel Česnek and managers Miloš Janeček and Petr Frydrych. The turbines were put into operation at the chemical water treatment plant in Ledvice in February 2020 and are used to generate green electricity, which is mainly used for lighting the plant. The participants also learned about the industrial installation of these turbines and were able to see the existing possibilities of using the electricity produced through battery storage or phasing the electricity directly into the grid. The presentation was attended, among others, by Marian Piecha, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Martin Klika, First Deputy and Deputy Governor of the Ústí nad Labem Region, and a number of other distinguished guests and entrepreneurs who appreciated the innovative design of the turbines and their environmental benefits. Further installations of PROTUR turbines intended for the ČEZ Group, specifically at their thermal power plants in Prunéřov and Mělník, will be implemented in the near future.
